Shafford Community – Wilderhood Watch

Welcome to our Shafford Community Wilderhood Watch page!

We are a small community based at the Redbourn Road end of the Childwickbury Estate. Most of our active members are from the 12 Shafford Cottages but we also have volunteers who live throughout the estate. Our projects so far have involved planting a Buzz Stop, plant sharing to create a Pollinator Highway and Litter Picking.

_{In August 2025 we sought to ‘adopt’ our local bus stop on the Redbourn Road with a view to establishing a wildflower Buzz Stop.
