We officially launched our Hedgehog Street project with a Hedgehog House building day on 19 May 2019!
Twenty-seven members of the Lancaster and Gurney Court Roads Wilderhood Watch group (plus representatives from two other St Albans streets) came together to build a total of fourteen Hedgehog Houses!
The houses were designed and prepared by Steven, one of our members.
Throughout the day we snacked on homemade vegan ginger biscuits, vegan bara brith, sweet chilli cheese puffs, houmous, and a beautiful hedgehog cake made by Charlotte!
