Craft Club

Following on from our 2022 Christmas Tree decorating success, we decided to launch our own Wilderhood Watch Craft Club. This involves a core meeting every month to share skills and discuss ideas, which can then be passed on to other members on our streets.

We will be able to sell our sustainable crafts in our stalls and plant swaps throughout the year, as well as make items which could support our various projects. For example, bird feeders, bug houses, macrame pot holders and bird boxes will all make great additions to our gardens.

Our craft club joined up with SA Friends of the Earth to make a United for Warm Homes Community Quilt. We created 17 squares which we then helped sew together along with the squares other community groups had contributed. This resulted in a beautiful quilt that was presented to our MP Daisy Cooper on Monday Nov 6 2023.
