We are very lucky on Charmouth Rd to have wide grass verges, which could potentially be full of wildflowers. We are currently gauging interest along our road, to see there would be enough support for our verges to remain unmown for most of the year. This would allow our wildflowers to bloom in the Summer, giving our pollinators a much needed food source.
Our verges at the moment
A wildlife friendly garden on Charmouth Rd, complete with a log pile and native wildflowers. By swapping plants pollinators love between gardens, as well as letting our verges grow, we’ll create our very own Pollinator Highway!
